Dear Parent/Carers,

This was the first day of our Distance Learning and our ‘new purpose’, in supporting emergency childcare for our key workers, at the Abergavenny hub at Llanfoist Fawr Primary School.

To emphasise one of the key messages from the Welsh Government and the Local Authority - children are safest at home.  However, if both parents/carers are key workers, you have the option of using the emergency childcare hub at Llanfoist Fawr Primary School.

Please be aware, this redirection of Cantref Primary School staff to Llanfoist will impact on the ability of some teachers to set and mark regular work.  Also, can I politely request that contact with teachers through our Distance Learning Platforms is limited to weekdays only and not weekends.

Thank you for your continued support and remain safe and well during this difficult time.

Yours sincerely

R Brunsdon
